Family photos

The older I get, the more I realize how much family means to me. Recently, I put together a collection of photos my mom shared with me from our old family computer images that capture my perspective on my family and how I grew up. Before my mom started looking through the photos, she thought they might make her sad, given everything we’ve been through. But instead, she found herself feeling happy. I didn’t know what to expect when I looked back at them myself. I didn’t think I’d feel sad, but I was also surprised by how happy they made me. These photos reminded me of things I’ve always known about my family, but seeing them again brought a comforting sense of reassurance. I want the pictures to tell the story, so I’ll keep this brief. However, my mom loves reading my thoughts when I share, so I decided to add some literary insight. There’s truly nothing more wholesome and heartwarming than family photos. Enjoy!
