Today was a special day. With no work or school for me, and my dad off on vacation in Mexico, my mom and I decided to spend some quality time together, as we always do. We headed to the DuPont Circle Holiday Market, an event I discovered through a TikTok post. It was such a delightful outing, perfectly designed to get us into the holiday spirit. Feeling thoroughly “spiritually warmed up” after the market, my mom suggested we visit the venue where her high school graduation ceremony took place. Her graduation was held at The National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception Church, as she attended a Catholic high school. The church was breathtaking, and we ended up spending several hours there, much to my surprise. I captured plenty of photos and videos for my YouTube channel since I’m working on a multi-day vlog (December 23rd to 25th) to document and celebrate this Christmas season. I’ll update this post with the vlog once it’s finished, and it will also be featured in a separate post highlighting our Christmas dinner gathering. For now, scroll through some of the beautiful pictures I took today. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
